Last night Jimmy Kimmel Live's "Total Eclipse of the Heart" special with the cast of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse was finally debuted in the USA! (we have yet 2 see it here in OZ, but here is a brief report, courtesy of Amanda Bell of the examinor.com, be sure 2 follow this link to see the various clips)
The portion of the interview with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner took place in a festive set, and the three talked with Jimmy Kimmel about everything from Pattinson's Water For Elephants haircut to Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart's worldwide press tour for Eclipse.
"For the most part it was business," Lautner explains when asked whether any of the trips were fun, "but we were able to find some time to relax." Lautner's idea of relaxing, it seems, included swimming with sharks and, as Kristen Stewart called it, "extreme boating."
The three were also confronted with their Twilight series action figures, and Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were asked about their experience doing karaoke in South Korea.
The three went onto bring in the “angry Edward” clip as well as to note a couple of somewhat disturbing facts about the film (the potential misinterpretation of Bella's wolf-petting moment and the fact that the wolves were not allowed to have visible reproductive organs for the film so as to maintain the PG-13 rating).
The three also helped to interrupt that fansite screening of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and then four of the film's castmates (Xavier Samuel, Bryce Dallas Howard, Peter Facinelli, and Dakota Fanning) walked into the theater to say hello!
Xavier Samuel also got to talk about being the "new guy" on the set, and he and Bryce Dallas Howard recounted the time when he was bitten by a raccoon . . and roped into playing a Twilight board game with Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, and Peter Facinelli.
The show went on to bring Elizabeth Reaser, Nikki Reed, and Ashley Greene on-stage to join their fellow castmates in talking about the filming process and who received the most injuries (to be fair, they were accidents that Peter Facinelli attributed to the loss of peripheral vision from the contacts).
The cast was then subjected to a clip of what the Twilight series would look like if it were cast with the Jersey Shore kids.
The cast went on to do an outdoor Q&A session with a massive group of fans!
